NSRF/NY @ NYU Facilitator Endorsement Process

• What is NSRF/NY @ NYU’s Facilitator Endorsement Process?
NSRF/NY @ NYU has designed this process to allow us to affirm an individual’s ability to apply NSRF-encouraged habits and skills of critical friendship and facilitative leadership within his or her current educational setting. Endorsed Facilitators become part of a local and national network of reform-minded educators who have a demonstrated facilitator’s skill set useful to schools and school districts engaged in the work of improving schools. Facilitators present their NSRF/NY @ NYU Facilitator Portfolio at an NSRF/NY @ NYU Portfolio Roundtable. Their presentations allow them to demonstrate their experience applying the NSRF/NY @ NYU Standards for Facilitators in their work.

• Who is eligible to pursue the Endorsement Process?
Most often candidates for endorsement will be guided through this process as part of an NSRF/NY @ NYU Facilitator’s Institute. In some cases highly experienced facilitators who have not participated in a formal NSRF/NY @ NYU Facilitator’s Institute may seek endorsement. In these cases, the candidate must contact NSRF/NY @ NYU and will have an Endorsed Facilitator assigned to assist him or her in preparation. For explanations of the various NSRF/NY @ NYU Facilitator credentials, see NSRF/NY @ NYU Facilitators.
