Mission NSRF - National

The mission of the National School Reform Faculty is to foster educational and social equity by empowering allpeople involved with schools to work collaboratively in reflective democratic communities that create and support powerful learning experiences for everyone.

NSRF/NY @ NYU complements NSRF National by networking teachers, school administrators, staff developers and district leaders in the New York Metropolitan area. NSRF/NY @ NYU convenes educational organizations that support facilitative leadership development. NSRF-trained facilitators develop the skills needed to form and sustain Critical Friends Groups/Study Groups and to design and lead ongoing school- and district-based professional development. NSRF/NY @ NYU participants are part of a regional and national network. The local effort is led by New York-based nationally recognized Lead Facilitators who convene local practitioners who share best practices and assist others to develop and apply their skills to become NSRF Endorsed Facilitators.
